Hawksgate Developments specialises in identifying and unlocking the development potential in parcels of land that others often fail to see, which can result in substantial financial benefits for our landowners. Founded in February 2020, its two directors Roger and Nick have worked together for over 10 years and have 65 combined years of experience in the property industry.

At Hawksgate Developments we are ideally placed to offer our considerable experience to find solutions to the often complex planning system, to unlock the full potential of your land.

We are able to quickly recognise whether your land is suitable for development and then utilise our hugely experienced team of architects, surveyors, planning consultants, lawyers and other specialists to design a scheme suitable for submission to the local authority.

The planning system in the UK is notoriously complicated and expensive to navigate, with the added hurdles of wide variations of interpretation of planning policies between different boroughs.

At our cost, we will prepare all the necessary paperwork and reports to submit a planning application that is bespoke to your land. This will give us the best chance of success within the shortest possible timeframe.

Roger T. Mustoe

After graduating from university in London, having studied Business with Property, Roger went to work for Team Sales as a new homes sales negotiator selling large development schemes on behalf of many national housebuilders. He then joined Allen Briegel estate agents in 2002 as a land manager and remained with the company until it was sold to Hamptons International. In 2008 Roger joined IndigoScott, a niche residential property developer based in South West London. As land director, Roger was responsible for sourcing, buying and selling top end development sites as well as securing valuable residential planning permissions on acquired sites. In August 2011 Roger joined Copperwood Developments as a shareholder and Director.

Roger spent nine years with Copperwood Developments and still maintains a directorship with the company due to ongoing projects. Whilst at Copperwood, Roger handled all aspects of land purchases, planning application processes and site disposal procedures. During this time longstanding industry relationships were built and formed with a wide range of development consultants.

Roger set up Hawksgate Developments Ltd in February 2020.

Nicholas J.R. Allen

Nick has a wealth of experience as a partner, senior consultant and director for a number of well established companies, including Allen Briegel, Hamptons International and Copperwood Developments. With over 45 years in the property industry, Nick is able to utilise his wealth of expertise to assess the potential of your land whether it be for a single dwelling, a small bespoke development or a large mixed-use housing scheme.

Nick has been assisting and advising Roger on Hawksgate Developments related matters since the company’s inception and provides private finance for the company’s projects, hence the company requires no external funding.

Nick remains a director of Copperwood Developments Ltd in order to help conclude projects acquired prior to the formation of Hawksgate Developments in February 2020.
